What Stephanie loves about teaching seventh grade: “The reason that I absolutely love teaching middle schoolers is that I'm able to connect with my students in such a cool and fun way. They are turning into young adults with these amazing personalities; they're all coming into their own. There is just so much fun and witty banter in the classroom, but there’s also such a real level of learning that occurs in middle school. Kids are starting to make those amazing connections. They take the material that you teach them home, and the next day they have these creative ideas and things to share about what you taught the day before. It is just so cool to see how they process the information, and the conversations that happen in the classroom are just higher level. It is such a rewarding experience to see them come into their own and develop into these adults that are just hungry for knowledge. I just absolutely love it—sarcasm and all!
