What Casey loves about teaching kindergarten: “There are so many things. First, when you work with 5- and 6-year-olds, you're always guaranteed one good laugh a day. They are so funny and tell the funniest stories, that even on your worst day they can make you smile! I also love witnessing the transformation that each child makes from the beginning of the year until the end. Some kids enter not knowing how to write their name or recognize letters, but by June, they’re reading and writing. It’s honestly the most amazing thing in the world to witness that change in each child. And most importantly, as kindergarten teachers, we have tremendous responsibility because we set the tone for how a child feels about school. When we get them to love coming to school, that’s an amazing thing, and we hope that that attitude stays with them for their educational years to come!†Do you agree?
