What Lindsey loves about teaching fifth grade: “Really, what’s not to love about teaching fifth grade?! I get to work with awesome little people. That 10- to 12-year-old age group is super fun. They're not quite little kids, but not quite that preteen yet. I love building up their self-esteem. I love the curriculum: social studies, science, the Revolutionary War, mean really, come on people! I love the novels we get to read, and the projects that I get to use. Plus, they say the darndest things! Their personalities?! They keep me on my toes all the time! The grading isn't my favorite, but fifth grade is where it’s at!†Do you agree?
