A Very Sweet & Simple Valentine's Craft

Help students send something extra sweet home to their loved ones this Valentine’s Day. Your students will craft a “roll-up card” that showcases their feelings. This easy craft only requires popsicle sticks, glue, markers, and white paper. Start with a class discussion about why it’s important to express our feelings to our friends and families, and inspire them to think of all the reasons they love a particular person in their lives. Students can then use markers to write on the popsicle sticks the reasons why they love and appreciate that special person. Students can decorate their white papers however they like and then glue the popsicle sticks to the back of it. After it dries, they can curl the popsicle stick page for a unique valentine’s card.
