Get Parents Involved in Student Data Tracking

It’s easier than you think to show parents how you track student data! During your Back-to-School Night (or even your next parent teacher conference), you can keep parents in-the-know and involved in your students’ curriculum plans with a few organizational steps. In this example, Maleah gave her students’ parents a list of vocabulary words that her kindergarten students are learning in the classroom—along with colored flash cards so students can review at home. You can incentivize this program with fun rewards for each word they master and add a “raindrop” to students’ personalized “rainbows” on special bulletin boards.
