How to Assemble The Fellowes Underdesk Keyboard Drawer-Office Suites


Thanks for making your work space more comfortable with Fellowes. The Fellowes Underdesk Keyboard Drawer is easy to assemble. Please follow these simple instructions. Before we get started, take a look at your instruction sheet. It’s also your drilling template, so keep it handy for assembly. First, let’s make sure you have all the parts… • Keyboard drawer • (2) sliders • (4) mounting brackets • (4) half inch chrome self tapping screws • (4) quarter inch brass machine screws • (8) five-inch chrome self tapping screws • The drilling template What you’ll need… • Phillips screwdriver • Power drill • Tape • 3/32 (three – thirty second) drill bit 1. Extend one slider and align to the side of the keyboard drawer 2. Fasten with two half inch chrome self tapping screws 3. Repeat with the second slider on the other side of the keyboard drawer 4. Fasten the first mounting bracket to the slider. Be sure the bracket is positioned with the three holes facing up as shown. Use two quarter inch machine screws to fasten 5. Attach the remaining two brackets to the other side of the drawer with the two remaining machine screws 6. Use the drill template to know where to drill under your desktop 7. Lay the drill template flat on the underside of your desktop 8. Make sure the dotted line edge is flush with the edge of your desk. Use tape to fasten the drill template temporarily 9. Locate the four reference points on the template and drill four holes there. Be sure not to drill through to the top of the desk 10. Use the four longer chrome self tapping screws to attach the drawer into the four drilled holes 11. Finally, adjust your keyboard stop to fit your keyboard 12.
