Co-Author Notes Inclusive Message of “Chicago Treasure” on WGN Radio

In a live interview this morning with WGN Radio’s Steve Cochran, Rich Green, co-author and illustrator of “Chicago Treasure,” noted that the book is special because it paints a picture of inclusiveness for children everywhere despite their sex, gender, race and disability. The principal author is Chicago Lighthouse Board Member and award-winning photojournalist, Larry Broutman. Among the children shown in the book as their favorite fairy tale characters is Catherine Boyle, step-daughter of Mary Boyle, who works with Steve and appears on his show. Catherine appeared as Sleeping Beauty.
