ADA Compliant Lecterns


AmpliVox, a leader in lectern design and manufacturer now leads the standards of the Americans with Disability Act with two great new lecterns. The AmpliVox Contemporary ADA Lectern Model SN3910 has an extra wide base to accommodate wheelchair access. By pushing a button, the lectern’s silent lift mechanism raises the height from 28” to 48”. The lift is powered by a rechargeable battery pack.This makes it also convenient for standing individuals. Model SN3900 is a full featured lectern that offers the same adjustable height convenience. It is fully accessible for a seated individual yet is also has motorized lift that raises the unit’s height from 31” to a full standing height of 41”. This allows the lectern to be used for all presenters. Both lecterns meet the rigid standards of the American with Disabilities Act Titles II and III Standards for Accessible Design. The model 3910 features a generous 24” x 19” working surface that provides plenty of room for computer and other materials. The reading surface is a 2” pass through to add a goose neck mic. The model 3900 has a full range of features including: - Spacious work surface - Easy entry and exit for seated individuals - Built-in handles to facilitate easy movement of the unit on its 3” locking casters - And accessible cord management and power connection It can also be customized with such options as: - Task light - Digital clock - And gooseneck mic that connects to house sound capability You can even get a model with built in speakers and wireless microphone options in addition to gooseneck mic.
