Soldier Who Died Saving People From Bronx Fire Is Hailed at His Funeral

The coffin of Pfc. Emmanuel Mensah was carried out of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in the Bronx on Saturday. His death, Cardinal Timothy M. Dolan said at the funeral, was a reminder of “the most noble calling of the human person, to give ourselves in sacrifice and love to others.”
