Garmin Next Gen Automotive OEM Infotainment (CES 2018)


At CES in January 2018, Garmin will reveal its latest Automotive OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) Infotainment platform. The platform includes multiple industry-first features like wireless rear-seat navigation, comprehensive weather forecasts along a route, and unique integration of Amazon’s cloud-based Alexa voice service. This scalable multi-screen platform provides a new level of speed and design for the OEM segment. Garmin will showcase the platform with its unique “Lenexa” HMI (human machine interface) that improves ease-of-use and reduces distraction.
