Tracy Chou SOFTWARE ENGINEER AT LARGE Tracy Chou is a software engineer, most recently at Pinterest and previous to that at Quora; she has also served with the U.S. Digital Service. In addition to her engineering career, Tracy is most well-known for her work pushing for diversity in tech, first helping to kick off the wave of tech company diversity data disclosures in the last few years and now as a founding member of Project Include and focused on driving solutions in the space. She was named Forbes Tech 30 under 30 in 2014 and has been profiled in Vogue and WIRED for her advocacy. Tracy is also an advisor to Homebrew VC. Y-Vonne Hutchinson FOUNDER READYSET Y-Vonne Hutchinson is a former international labor rights lawyer, the founder of Ready Set, a diversity solutions firm based in Oakland, CA, and a co-founder of Project Include. As a lawyer and advocate, she has worked with foreign national governments, the US Department of State, and the UN. She is a member of Harvard Law’s Institute for Global Law and Policy network and an expert on labor relations and diversity in the workplace.. Janneke Niessen CO-INITIATOR INSPIRINGFIFTY Janneke is a serial entrepreneur and currently co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer of Improve Digital, a leading European marketing technology firm. She also invests considerable time serving as a member of company (advisory) boards, she is a mentor for start-ups, and she is active as an angel investor. Janneke is co-initiator of InspiringFifty, an initiative that aims to increase diversity in tech by making female role models more visible. As part of the InspiringFifty initiative, Janneke has published Project Prep, a novel for young girls in conjunction with an award winning child book’s author. Janneke is member of supervisory board of UNICEF, advisory board member of FutureNL, member of the investment committee of Innoquarter and she writes a column about technology for LINDA. Janneke was named 2014 EY Entrepreneur of the Year and Most Innovative Leader in 2016, two of many in a long list of honors for Janneke in her time with Improve Digital. Wytze de Haan DIRECTOR OF TNW CONFERENCE Wytze de Haan is Director of TNW Conference. He studied Hotel Management at Hotelschool The Hague before joining The Next Web as event manager at twenty-one and becoming executive director of TNW Conference at twenty-four. Previous attendees of the conference will remember Wytze from proposing to his wife on main stage in 2015 in front of 3,500 attendees.
